FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining our high energy apartment community with 106 units in Roslindale, MA. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the physical maintenance of the property. This includes maximizing the value of the property with systemized operations, maintaining a first class property with curb appeal, creating a safe environment for our residents & employees, maintaining & servicing all equipment and providing excellent, 24 hour maintenance service.
We expect the Maintenance Supervisor to assist in overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects. In addition, this individual is responsible in enforcing staff compliance with company policies and procedures to all of the maintenance team. Daily activities would include:
- Recognize potential problems and take appropriate action
- Performing duties such as installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facility equipment
- Assign or complete work orders
- Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Secures the maintenance shop at all times
- Handles resident complaints/problems
The Maintenance Supervisor is eligible to take advantage of educational offerings that are available to ensure continued growth professionally:
- Dolben University
- NAA Designations, such as CAMT
To perform the job successfully, this individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Qualified candidates must have 2-3 years in related experience/training as well as a High School Diploma or general education degree.
