Compensation:
$19 - $21 hourly
Responsibilities:
A hotel rooms controller is responsible for:
- Managing a hotel's guest room inventory, coordinating room assignments based on guest requests and availability
- Ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue by strategically blocking rooms
- Acting as a liaison between the front desk, housekeeping
- Other departments to guarantee smooth guest check-in and check-out processes
- Essentially overseeing the day-to-day operations of room allocation within the hotel
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS)
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in room assignments and guest information
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures Marriott experience preferred
