We are seeking a skilled and experienced Stationary Facilities Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have completed the courses for a stationary engineer and preferably holds an LME certification. This is a full-time position with full benefits, including a pension plan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance of stationary equipment and systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely
- Respond to customer requests for maintenance and repairs in a timely manner
- Work with co-workers to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers through email and smart phone usage
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to management
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- Completed courses for a stationary engineer and preferably holds an LME certification
- Must be able to complete general repairs and maintenance
- Must be able to complete preventative maintenance
- Must be able to use a smart phone and email
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
