Overview
C2O Group is seeking a skilled Barehand Transmission Lineman Superintendent to join our team in Texas and multiple other states.

Duties
- 10+ years of experience in transmission construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role overseeing barehand works.
- Extensive knowledge of T&D systems, equipment, and installation techniques of Lattice steel towers, poles and various components/ hardware.
- Oversee the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead barehand transmission works up to and including 345kV.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, enforcing safety protocols to protect personnel and public safety.
- Manage General Foreman, and multiple Lineman crews whilst providing leadership, guidance, and safe productivity.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical drawings to provide clear instructions to teams.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including work logs, schedules, and safety reports.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure project milestones, deadlines, and budgets are met.
- Ensure work is completed according to technical specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address project progress and resolve any issues.
- Handle material orders, equipment deliveries, and resource allocation for efficient project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental and local regulations.
- Must be able to safely perform a reconductoring job.
- Must be familiar with induced voltage, sag wire and set up tension sites.
- Must be capable of properly phasing a circuit through a substation.
- Capable of properly installing and removing barehand PPE and cover up.
- Must be able to climb different types of structures (lattice steel, wood, etc) and operate bucket truck.
- Understands grounding procedures and how to phase out a line using phasing sticks.
- Hold a valid OSHA 30 certificate
- Capable of planning safe work based on a job print or work order.
- Capable of safely installing and removing mechanical jumpers and understands flag and tag procedures.
- Safety must be adhered to at all times, working within OSHA guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Journeyman Lineman certification or completion of lineman apprenticeship.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to attract and retain qualified transmission resources.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to Relocate
- Working at heights on Transmission lines over 100ft
- Able to lift 60 lbs unassisted.
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must carry out Drug and Alcohol testing/ screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the US

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
