The Wire Harness Technician will contribute as a team member of an assembly and production team for cable assemblies, electronic sub-assemblies and components of automated test equipment and test systems.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Wire Harness Technician shall report directly to the Production Manager in, San Antonio, TX.
CLASSIFICATION/SALARY RANGE
This full time position is classified as hourly with the pay commensurate with experience and educational background.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow drawings to manufacture cable assemblies
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts
- Perform minor repairs as needed
- Ensure cable assemblies are built in adherence with established specifications
- Follow company's Quality Management System and procedures
- Participate in peer reviews of assembled items
- Support the packaging and shipment of completed, manufactured items
- Red-line drawings as required
- Other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 -3 years' related experience
- Cable assembly experience required
- Specific experience working with DoD drawings is desired
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance, if necessary
- Ability to comply with all other requirements as specified within the CIEDA Personnel Policies and Procedures
