JOB SUMMARY: The HVAC Maintenance Skilled Worker performs maintenance, installation, and repair work on HVAC systems, equipment, and components. This work is performed under close supervision and using the tools and techniques of HVAC technology.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Requires successful completion of 1 year (or current enrollment in) formal training in a state-approved Journey HVAC program at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization. Fundamental/introductory knowledge of, HVAC techniques, codes, procedures and materials. Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.

Work Experience: At least more than 1 year of work experience, requires successful completion of 1 year (or current enrollment in) formal training in a state-approved Journey HVAC program at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.07 per hour - Maximum 19.81 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
