Important Note:
Only Accepting Applicants that have HVAC and/or Refrigeration License ( Type 1 Minimum) along side with 2+ years of solo refrigeration servicing/ diagnosing/repair experience. Experience with repairing Residential Refrigeration Appliances is also required. Applicant must be fluent in R134 and R600 diagnosing and repair. This will be mostly Compressor and Evap Freeze-up calls, with some ice makers sprinkled in.

Responsibilities:
The Refrigeration Repair Technician will be responsible for working out in the field, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of in-home consumer Refrigeration Appliances. These will include [common] Standard Retail Refrigerators, Compact Refrigerators, Wine Coolers, [rarely] High End Refrigerators like Wolf/Subzero, Ice Chests, Coolers, [semi-rarely] Portable A/C units ( Window size or Portable Unit on rollers and smaller only ), and [rarely] Ice Machine (Countertop and Built -In )
About The Role:
We currently only service Residential Units fitting into a EPA Level 1 Capacity. We do not schedule or service HVAC systems other than residential in-the-home refrigeration appliances such as Refrigerator or a Window A/C unit. 99.9% of the work will be on Refrigerators and 50% of that work will most likely be compressor and dryer filter replacement.

Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of recent repair experience
- Experience repairing Common Refrigeration issues that are not Sealed System. Door alignments and gaskets, Evap Controllers and fans, ice makers, defrost parts, etc.. is required, Further Appliance Repair Experience will be in your favor!
- Outstanding diagnostic/problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain service records and parts inventory
- HVAC/EPA/Sealed System certification is required
- Know rules, laws and guidelines as presented by the EPA during certification process to safely service Refrigeration.
- Technicians are responsible for making sure the correct procedures are followed when and where necessary for safe equipment and material handling and disposal.
- Must have a clean driving record to drive the company vehicle and be able to occasionally drive for long periods of time. Must also maintain vehicle
- Capable going up and down stairs with equipment
- Overall ability to move/position product weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance
- Must be able to occasionally work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment and outdoor conditions
- Pass a post-offer, pre-employment background, drug test and physical assessment
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Full time schedule, Typically M-F currently, will advance to a flexible schedule with Saturdays on if desired.
