Shifts:
- Mid- 5x8 (3pm-11:30pm, Every other weekend)
- (If you work a weekend, you will get days off during the week)
- Guaranteed hours per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a ER Technician
- EMT or ER Tech Certification
- MUST have a valid ACLS (Candidates will NOT be taken into consideration without an ACLS)
- BLS- MUST be through American Heart Association
Description:
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Assist with patient assessments, preparation for exams, and treatment
- Provide direct support to physicians and nurses during medical procedures
- Set up and operate medical equipment, ensuring it is sterilized and in working order
- Monitor patient condition and alert medical staff to any changes
- Document patient information, treatment plans, and progress in medical records
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the ER area
- Manage medical supplies and ensure proper stock levels
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families in stressful situations
