RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Service/Repair/Install of garage doors.
2. Ensure customer satisfaction with the delivery process.
3. Assemble mechanical components or machine parts.
4. Repair or replace worn or broken door parts using hand tools.
5. Lubricate equipment to allow proper functioning.
6. Test mechanical equipment to ensure its functioning properly and document.
7. Order replacement springs, sections, or slats.
8. Complete a 25-point Inspection on site.
9. Loading and unloading material
10. Trouble shoot and repair garage door openers.
11. Carry springs to tops of doors using ladders and attach springs to tracks to install spring systems.
12. Adhere to company’s safety rules and standards while using tools and ladders.
13. Perform IDA regulated repairs and installation of new parts.
14. Perform a complete inspection of the service vehicle prior to each daily use.
15. Safe operation of a motor vehicle.
16. Load vehicle with the proper inventory.
17. Contacting the office upon arrival and departure from each appointment
18. Collect payment from customers and obtain homeowner’s signature.
19. Adhere to technician process and procedures.
20. Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Valid driver's license
3. Ability to lift or move heavy products.
4. Ability to operate powered equipment.
5. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
6. Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
