U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management/infrastructure service organization, is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician to work at our site in Richmond, VA. The applicant will be responsible for the following:

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. On the job training to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility to include HVAC, electrical and plumbing.

Responsibilities

Performing routine maintenance around the building such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
Making sure HVAC equipment is in working order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

Knowledge and Experience
Entry level. Will train. Retirees and Students are welcome!
May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Transportation to facility.

Working Conditions

Not rigorous work, mostly making rounds before the building is open to the public to ensure that everything is safe and in working order.

Salary range: $20-24 per hour, experience based.
