Job Title: Project Coordinator - HVAC
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Foreman/Estimator to join our HVAC team. This dual-role position requires a professional who can oversee HVAC projects from start to finish while also accurately estimating project costs and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: - Supervise and manage on-site HVAC installation and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Ensure all HVAC work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues that arise during installation or maintenance.
Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
Estimating:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Present estimates and project proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner.
3. Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Foreman and/or Estimator in the HVAC industry.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and safety standards.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Education:
- A degree in HVAC Technology, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
