Primary Purpose:
Responsible for coordinating and directing the electrical, HVAC, ice plant and kitchen equipment repair technicians in a variety of park repairs, maintenance and new work. Assists PE/General Services management with training, schedules, and supervision.
What You Get to Do:
- Supervises and schedules the duties of electricians, HVAC techs, and kitchen equipment technician
- Maintains material inventory; contacts vendors for on-going material needs
- Manages and supports the company’s Electrical Safety Policy and Arc Flash PPE Program
- Perform maintenance on general lighting, power circuits and receptacles
- Perform general maintenance on many miscellaneous types of electrical devices
- Works from blueprints or in-depth sketches
- Maintains equipment for shops
- Operates hand and power tools
- Selects proper materials for use
- Ensures safety of structures and conforms to safety laws
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as required
What it Takes to Succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least five (5) years of electrical trade experience or equivalent
- Ability to do a material take-off and obtain quotes from vendors
- Basic knowledge of HVAC is preferred
- Texas Journeymen Electrical License required minimum; Master Electrical license preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a SEA driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blue prints
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills in the English language.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be able to complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park guidelines.
- Must be able to work independently and have flexibility to work successfully in a team environment when needed.
- Provide excellent service to guests and team members.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work for prolonged periods of time in extreme weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Consistently practices safe work habits including, but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment, lifting and reporting of unsafe situations
- Must be willing to comply with and ensure team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
- Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines.
Compensation: $28.50 per hour
