Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
1. Repairs and maintains systems such as boilers, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and plumbing.
2. Removal of snow along the walkways of the properties.
3. Ability to verify that everything in the apartment is working properly.
4. Respond to emergency calls while “on call” apart from normal office hours.
5. Completion of work orders in a prompt and timely manner.
6. Assumes responsibility for all personal tools and transportation.
7. Properly maintains and uses Horizon Realty Group’s materials, tools, and supplies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial machinery and systems
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, hydraulics, and precision measuring instruments
- Experience with high voltage systems and industrial maintenance practices
- Good Verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
