Are you a skilled technical professional with a passion for maintaining complex mechanical systems? We're seeking a versatile Mobile HVAC/R Engineer to be the critical guardian of our facility infrastructure across the Minneapolis metropolitan area.
Your Mission
As our Mobile Engineer, you'll be the lifeline of our facility operations, responsible for:
- System Expertise: Operate, inspect, and maintain refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across multiple facilities
- Preventive Maintenance: Minimize equipment downtime through proactive inspections and strategic repairs
- Multi-Skilled Problem Solving: Demonstrate technical prowess in HVAC/R while being adaptable across multiple system types
- Safety First: Champion workplace safety through rigorous hazard assessments and compliance with local ordinances
- Efficient Reporting: Utilize advanced CMMS systems like Corrigo to track and update work orders in real-time
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate brings:
- 4+ years of comprehensive building engineering experience
- Strong background in HVAC/R systems, including walk-in cooler and freezer diagnostics
- Type II EPA Certification
- Basic experience in plumbing, electrical, and production equipment maintenance
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to work within a 2-hour radius of our base location
Bonus Qualifications
- Universal EPA Certification
- Two years of trades school in electrical systems, refrigeration, or HVAC
- 3rd Party Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $31.18 - $33.73 per hour
