Primary responsibilities include program modifications, preventative maintenance, and emergency service for building automation systems. You may assist with the development of project scopes in coordination with the sales team and the management of those building automation projects. You will administer training for customers and maintain detailed records according to company standards relating to programming, maintenance, and service of the clients' building automation management systems.
Compensation commensurate with experience, in the range of $35.00-45.00 per hour.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience implementing and modifying software programs and managing all aspects of the software code delivery and servicing commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS).
- Ability to modify programs and make corrections to systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Capable of performing network troubleshooting, database troubleshooting and repair programming.
- BACnet, Lon and Modbus with BAS integration experience preferred.
- Tridium/Niagara N4 and AX experience strongly desired.
- The ability to work independently, as well as on a project team.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or equivalent field experience servicing BAS systems required.
- Ability to act independently and to coordinate the work of others on a job site. Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
- PC experience required, as well as strong knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft office.
