Job description
DEEM is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician who is comfortable with refrigeration systems commonly installed in supermarkets and grocery stores in the Austin, TX area. This position requires you to be available for both day and overnight shifts, Monday through Friday. Some jobs allow for us to work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and jobs require us to come in after closing from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Typically, you would work the same shift all week.
DEEM is a commercial mechanical and electrical company offering HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Refrigeration, Industrial Piping, Building Automation, and Sheet Metal Installation and services. We are centrally located in Indianapolis, Indiana with satellite offices throughout the Midwest down to the southeastern United States.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Electrical Install experience in a commercial environment
- Grocery store and or supermarket experience preferred
- Journeyman and refrigeration background strongly preferred
- Must possess working knowledge of installing electrical systems in a new construction setting
- Ability to read blueprints, wire, terminate, troubleshooting devices as needed
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a clean driving record and possession of valid driver’s license
- Must be willing and able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician License
- TDLR License

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
