As an automotive technician here at Midas you'll be diagnosing and repairing Brake, HVAC, Electrical, Steering and Suspension, Exhaust,Engine and Transmission systems. You're expected to bring your own tools, and to maintain a clean and safe work environment. You'll have access to various online repair and diagnostic programs as well as the use of our physical equipment. We are equipped with a welder, exhaust bender, tire Mounting and balancing machine, vehicle lifts, jacks, brake lathe, bench vice, strut machine and other equipment to make our day to day work as efficient as possible. We are looking for highly experienced people to bring their knowledge and skills to a place that can take you to the next level. Our hours of business here are 7:30AM through 6:00PM Monday through Saturday. Full time employees work 5 days a week. We are closed on Sundays, so you'll always have Sunday off, and then your second day off is generally going to be somewhere between Tuesday and Thursday. We are conveniently located in Universal City, and our customers are generally from Universal City, Live Oak, Converse, Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, San Antonio and surrounding areas. We offer ASE Certification reimbursement and online training. We also offer health care options.
