About Us:
ProShield Surface Coatings is a leading provider of high-quality epoxy flooring solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential clients. We take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction. We are in the process of opening up an office in the RDU area so starting out this will be a part time - as needed position. Once more jobs are lined up this become a full time position. We expect to ramp up pretty quickly.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Epoxy Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing, installing, and finishing epoxy flooring systems including garage, pool decks, and commercial applications . This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Opportunity to advance to team lead if proven effective and reliable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Clean, grind, and repair concrete surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings.
- Epoxy Application: Mix and apply epoxy resins, primers, and topcoats according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Finishing: Use tools and techniques to ensure a smooth, even, and durable finish on all flooring projects.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience: We prefer a minimum of 1 years of experience in epoxy flooring installation or a related field. However we are willing to train the right individual.
- Skills: Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, knowledge of epoxy resins and coatings, strong attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors. We are a small down to earth company and not one of the gigantic other companies within our industry where you are just an employee.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Knowledge of how to back up a trailer is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
