Job Opportunity:
Join our team of specialty equipment installers, covering the largest multifamily and hospitality projects in the Carolinas, Georgia, and Virginia. We are looking for fit, strong individuals to perform a multitude of equipment installations including trash and linen chutes, trash compactors, mass bicycle storage systems, resident postal specialty equipment, resident storage systems and exterior site furniture packages. Responsibilities of this position include receiving equipment orders at jobsites, installing equipment per building plans, coordination with general contractor personnel and operating forklifts and scissor lifts.
To be a successful member of our installation team you must be able to perform a wide range of tasks that require stamina and an eagerness to learn on the job. The right candidate can understand instructions and carry them out with efficiency in a safe manner. Our installation members do work under deadlines, so it’s important for a candidate to be able to communicate clearly with members of the other parties we will be working in coordination with. Our clients are building the largest projects in our coverage area and time is always of the essence in completing our tasks. Your safety is our priority; as such, we will provide on-the-job training and formal OSHA 30 training to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
Responsibilities Include:
Following all company and jobsite safety requirements.
Operating a company provided vehicle.
Operating lulls and scissor lifts.
Using power tools.
Lifting and moving equipment at construction sites.
Use of a company mobile phone and mobile devices.
Maintaining a clean workspace each day.
Requirements for the job:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Similar work experience may be beneficial but not required.
A willingness to participate in job safety retraining at regular intervals.
A valid driver’s license and social security number.
A clear criminal background check.
A clean pre-employment drug screening.
Be mild-tempered and a team player.
Stamina and strength to perform equipment installations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
