Makes periodic inspections of and maintains all equipment associated with supplying safety lighting, plumbing, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, control systems and any other system for which responsible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Make checks of all mechanical area equipment and log in same.
- Handle maintenance calls from the main office.
- Maintain records as required.
- Combined responsibilities of testing and running of emergency generators along with the electricians
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the University.
High School or GED required. Technical School preferred.
Three (3) years - with technical school
Four (4) years - without technical school
