Mold Remediation Technician

Position: Mold Remediation Technician
Compensation: $27.76 to $33.17 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary: In this role, you'll be instrumental in executing mold remediation projects, delivering top-quality, consistent, and efficient service to assist our clients in restoring their properties to pristine condition.
You will:
- Inventory and equip the work vehicle with necessary equipment, products, and supplies.
- Maintain a pristine and organized vehicle, ensuring equipment is clean and presentable.
- Conduct initial site inspections to assess contamination levels and determine necessary cleanup procedures.
- Set up staging areas and prepare rooms/areas for mold remediation activities.
- Execute mold remediation processes under strict adherence to safety and risk management protocols.
- Utilize air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and other specialized equipment to cleanse and dry affected areas.
- Apply antimicrobial treatments to prevent future growth of mold.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Document all phases of the remediation process, including detailed reports and photographs.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and answering questions regarding the remediation process.
- Conduct thorough end-of-day and project completion cleanups to leave sites clean and orderly.
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Position Requirements:
- IICRC certifications in mold remediation—preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mostly clean motor vehicle report without too many dings.
- Strong work ethics and effective communication skills.
- Experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Capable of lifting at least 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds occasionally with help.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, working at heights, and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics.
- Able to handle and use cleaning agents safely.
