Job Title: - Instrumentation Electrician- Georgetown, SC
Job Summary: - Instrumentation Electricians must balance a high level of surveillance and maintenance to maintain the integrity of the plant. The Technician will take a proactive approach in mitigating developing threats and ongoing events. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to recognize, analyze, and respond to abnormal conditions in a timely manner to minimize potential impact to people and the environment as well as eliminating risk to the liability of the company. The position requires working outside in various weather conditions and in various areas where contact with local wildlife could be dangerous. Troubleshoot/repair electrical equip., controllers, transformers, electrical valves, pressure switches, bailey system knowledge. Will perform periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the plant system and complete maintenance records, service/ calibration reports, and other required documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -
Qualifications: -
- 8 years of electrical and instrumentation experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
