Summary: Under the direction of and reporting to the Director of Renewable Energy & Business Development, the Electrician will primarily be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in civil construction projects for National Power customers. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with construction teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Core duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in civil construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conduct electrical inspections and testing to ensure systems are functioning properly and comply with codes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior electricians and apprentices.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on civil projects.
- Valid electrician's license and certifications as required by state law.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Work conditions and physical demands:
- Travel up to 70%.
- Lifting and carrying heavy objects, up to 75lbs, will be required
- Ascending or descending ladders, scaffolding, stairs, ramps and the like using feet/legs and/or hands/arms
- Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand(s)
- Pushing/pulling may involve the use of hands/arms, feet/legs, and/or feet, done with one side of the body or both sides.
- Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet to enter restricted spaces
- Occasionally, using one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipment
- Clarity of vision and color vision are both required (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers
- Sitting/Driving for long periods is frequently required

- Competitive pay depending on previous experience and current certifications. Overtime is also a factor and is paid at 1.5 X base. We are a performance-based company and pay will ultimately reflect the employee’s productivity and overall performance.
