Journeyman Electrician
*Job Pay Based on Experience
Job Purpose: Morlandt Electric is looking for licensed Journeyman Electricians for overhead and underground primary distribution, low voltage distribution, commercial, and industrial work. The majority of our customer base is government, mining, and utility. We provide new construction and troubleshooting services for many industries in Texas ranging from 120V to 35KV. Must be able to pass background check.
Journeyman Electrician Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experience with or knowledge of using hand tools.
- Skill or experience working with electrical systems.
- Skill or experience reading and interpreting diagrams such as technical drawings or blueprints.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
- Skill or experience using power tools.
- Experience installing and repairing electrical systems in industrial spaces, such as manufacturing facilities.
- Experience installing and repairing electrical systems in commercial spaces such as office buildings and storefronts.
- OSHA 10
- Skill or experience interpreting blueprints.
- Skill or experience installing, designing, repairing or working with low voltage cabling, wiring, or electronics.
Required Qualifications: 2+ Years Experience & DOL or TDLR Journeyman Electrician License
Preferred Qualifications: 3-5+ Years Experience & DOL or TDLR Journeyman Electrician License. CDL Class A or B
Working Conditions: Indoor and Outdoor
Starting pay for qualified candidates $30+ Hour.
