Job description
Seeking a dependable, honest, hardworking individual for garage door repair and installation. Primary duties include service, repair, sales, installation and troubleshooting garage doors and garage door openers. Strong ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect garage doors, openers and related components; diagnose problems; replace or repair doors, openers and parts.
- Prior to commencement of work, determine if appropriate tools and equipment are working and/or available.
- Establish the needs of each job and document the full installation/service needed.
- Determine if added work needs to be performed and the measures needed to assure approved installation of product. Alterations, construction modifications and obstructions must be noted before each job is to begin.
- Regularly perform job duties in a garage environment often under extreme conditions of summer heat and winter cold.
Desired Skills
- Ability to lift 100 lbs. or more.
- Ability to push, kneel, crouch and climb ladders.
- Working on ladders at varying heights.
- Ability to work in outside weather conditions.
Qualifications
- 1-year related installation or construction experience; previous garage door sales/repair/installation ideal but not required. Will train right candidate.
- Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills while interfacing with all levels of staff and customers.
- Stable work history.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Good at working with your hands; highly technically savvy.
- Maintain a polished personal appearance.
- Ensure company provided vehicle is kept neat, clean and organized.
Hours
- Flexible hours 7 days a week.

Salary: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
