The Role
As the Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will ensure that all vacated apartments in the Sienna residences are thoroughly restored to "make ready" status and diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as dry walling, painting, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and appliance repair. There is a great amount of interaction with customers, residents, and guests, therefore maintaining a high level of customer service is imperative to the success of this position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Prepares vacant apartments to ensure the timely turn of all vacant apartment to market ready condition that meet the Company’s standards
- Completes service requests from residents in a timely manner by demonstrating customer services skills while treating residents and others with respect
- Assists in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Maintain shop inventory and organization
- Schedule vendors for necessary paints, cleans, and repairs

Qualifications
- A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred.
- Good customer skills are also required.
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in multifamily maintenance or a trade that requires basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC (preferred)
- Applicable certifications preferred including but not limited to EPA, HVAC I & II
- Self-starter and able to multi-task.
- Customer-focused mentality
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have open availability including early mornings/evenings, weekends, and holidays
