Baker Equipment & Supply, Inc. is a well-established Dallas based car wash equipment and supply company and is seeking to expand our Chemical Sales & Service Team. With over 57 years of continuous service in the Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico markets, we are currently experiencing tremendous growth and are seeking qualified candidates to join our team of professionals. This job requires applicant to cover the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas and Louisiana markets. This role encompasses managing existing accounts and implementing effective route management strategies to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction, expanding our client base, and optimizing sales routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster and maintain robust relationships with existing clients through regular visits and communication, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with our products and services.
- Develop and execute a strategic route management plan to identify and target potential clients within the assigned territory, including car wash businesses, fleet companies, and other related entities.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the benefits and features of our offerings while addressing the specific needs and concerns of potential customers.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services to existing clients, aiming to enhance their engagement and overall spend.
- Collaborate closely with the internal sales and marketing teams to formulate tailored sales strategies and initiatives aligned with company objectives and prevailing market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback using CRM software, providing regular reports and updates to the sales management team.
- Address objections positively by overcoming concerns, highlighting common ground, and navigating differences to achieve mutually beneficial resolutions.
- Introduce innovative products and services as a means to enrich and strengthen current relationships.
- Coordinate and participate in debriefing sessions with both internal and external clients, including on-site training when necessary.

- Guarantee precise entry and effective management of data in accordance with the company's CRM protocol.
- Utilize market and competitor insights to recognize and cultivate the company's distinctive selling propositions and differentiators.
- Coordinate and engage in debriefing sessions with both internal and external clients.
- The Account Rep is expected to participate in all industry events, conferences, tradeshows, etc., within their designated market.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in account management, route sales, or related sales positions, preferably within the car wash or automotive industry.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude
- High School Diploma required
- This job requires weekly travel and overnight stays in the Louisiana region
- Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing sales targets and adeptly managing client accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Proficiency in route planning and management, possessing a keen understanding of sales territory dynamics and customer segmentation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to ensure optimal productivity on the sales route.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales management tools, along with a solid grasp of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License required.
- Ability to guide, direct and provide technical expertise on products (or services) to colleagues, distributors, and customers.
