What You'll Do... As a Service Manager with American Pest, you'll support a team of 8-12 technicians in their pest management objectives with both residential and commercial accounts. You'll also oversee their day-to-day activities and professional development while ensuring the delivery of stellar customer service. Additionally, you will provide safe and effective pest management solutions to evaluate new customers' needs, maximize required performance outcomes, keep records of service activities, and submit reports to management as required.
Who You Are... So, what does it take to be a successful Service Manager with American Pest? For starters, you'll have a minimum of 3 years in the pet control industry. You'll also have...
- Current state issued pest control registrations, licenses, and certifications
- A firm understanding of customer service and de-escalation
- The ability to hold team accountable daily check-ins, goal setting, performance management, etc.
- The ability to safely move about customer locations, ascend/descend stairs and ladders to service out of the way areas, and position self to conduct service under/around furniture, equipment, and tight spaces
- The ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- The ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
- Technical proficiency with computers, smart phones, PestPac (preferred), etc.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Solid attention to detail
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule (typical hours range between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. with occasional exceptions)
- Availability to work some weekends
- High school degree or equivalent
