Overview
We are conducting a confidential search for a highly skilled and experienced Flooring Services General Managerdeveloping to oversee our sales andnd operations and lead our team in delivering exceptional service and quality in the multi-family and construction industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in creating strategic initiatives, driving dynamic sales programs, and developing world-class sales and operations teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities to drive business growth while maintaining strong business relationships within the industry.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the business, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Build and develop a dynamic sales team to source and maintain relationship selling techniques.
- Oversee customer management from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Lead and mentor a team of skilled sales professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure quality control by reviewing work performed on-site and conducting inspections.
- Develop solid relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations.
- Maintain effective communication with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 years experience in a managerial role in flooring services within the multi-family or construction industry.
- 3 years experience managing branch sales and operations with full P&L responsibilities.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
