We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Electrician with Low-Voltage and Medium-Voltage experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low-voltage (up to 600 volts) and medium-voltage (up to 35,000 volts) systems. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems and equipment are installed and functioning according to safety and quality standards. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Job Functions
· Install, maintain, and repair low-voltage or medium-voltage electrical systems, including wiring, conduits, outlets, and switchgear.
· Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
· Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve electrical issues promptly.
· Ensure all electrical work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes and standards.
· Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
· Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
· Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
· Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
· Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical work.
· Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical - mechanical equipment/ systems and control circuits, motors, motor control centers, and process instrumentation.
Required Qualifications
· Associate degree or higher in the field of electrical, mechanical, or industrial technician.
· Two years related with a degree or 5 years of industrial experience without degree.
· High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized apprenticeship or technical training program in electrical work.
· Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local authorities.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in low-voltage or medium-voltage electrical work.
· In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical codes.
· Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialized systems such as fire alarms, security systems, or data communication networks.
- Experience with medium-voltage equipment such as transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
- Additional certifications or training in advanced electrical systems or safety practices.

Union membership is required for this job.
Shifts are 12 hours, 7 days every 2 weeks, A and C, 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM and B and D, 6:00 PM until 6:00 AM.
B-Shift and D-Shift have a 10% premium over base wage rate.
Job duties include indoor and outdoor activities.
Minimal lifting (<=35 lbs) will be required.
Enrollment in the MEMC hearing conservation program is required.
