Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, including residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Perform pipe threading and construction plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on the job site.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Collaborate with HVAC technicians when necessary for integrated system installations.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing or related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus for transporting materials to job sites.
- Basic math skills are essential for measuring and calculating material needs accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites is beneficial, particularly in construction plumbing roles.
- Ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player is crucial for success in this position.
