Your Role:
As a Control Systems Technician, you’ll play a vital role in assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining industrial control panels and systems. You’ll work both in the field and in our panel shop, with approximately 75% of your time spent on-site and 25% in the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Assemble and wire industrial control panels to meet specifications and standards.
- Install and integrate control panels, devices, and sensors in industrial environments.
- Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of control systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to achieve project goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all work meets quality standards.
- Communicate with customers potential issues, and resolutions to solve their electrical/technical issues.
What You Bring:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications or coursework are a plus).
- Experience: Prior experience in control panel building is preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and industrial control systems. Familiarity with automation technologies is a bonus.
- Abilities: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and precision in your work.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to bend, lift, twist, and work in physically demanding environments.
- Teamwork: Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
