The Installer Furniture shall have ?ability to assist in furniture repair when needed.??Loads, stores, moves, packs, places furniture according to plan and assembles furniture.? When needed can perform minor furniture repair and stabilization.?? Establishes the operational conditions of each item to be repaired or restored.? Has a general understanding of systems furniture and installation techniques. The Installer (Jr) will support the FBI in the following areas, to include but not limited to:
- Perform repair, maintenance, installation, and disassembly of systems furniture and casegood furniture (Unicor, Teknion, Kimball, Steelcase) product to include properly inventory, palletizing and sorting parts and components for warehouse storage and retrieval.
- Under the supervision of the Onsite Installer (Sr), provides support in the project completion of assigned furniture outcome associated with construction projects.
- Under the supervision of the Onsite Installer (Sr), interfaces with construction project managers, IT cable installers, facilities trades, and agency clients to define furniture project requirements. Able to manage the furniture reconfiguration of a small to medium size single-faceted project.
- Assist the Onsite Installer (Sr) and the Systems Furniture Technician in eliciting, evaluating, integrating, and coordinating furniture information between the requestors and the program.
- Assist the Onsite Installer (Sr) and the Systems Furniture Technician in the review of proposed designs and layouts for suitability and to identify potential issues.
- Assist the Onsite Installer (Sr) and the Systems Furniture Technician with cleaning furniture and furniture fabric for product(s) prior to and/or after installation.
