Summary
Do you have what it takes to become an important part of our Reliable team? As a Water Purification Advisors (WPA), you will be responsible for generating new customer leads, forming a positive relationship with each customer, recommending, and selling water purification systems to potential and current customers. WPAs will partner with our Plumbing dept who install, troubleshoot, and repair water filtration equipment by contacting customers, providing quotes about the recommended service, writing proposals and contracts, and designing systems in customer homes and businesses.
This is a 100% commission role. Compensation is completely based on your performance.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for handling all sales leads (self-generated and furnished by the Company) in a timely and professional manner
- Openly communicate the disposition of each lead with the Sales Dept
- Accurately design and quote solutions for residential customers
- Responsible for executing proper follow up procedures with every customer.
- Ensure that customer expectations are met and kept throughout the duration of the project to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain sales that meet or exceed the profit margin and closing ratio goals assigned by the Director of Sales
- Make recommendations to the customer regarding the different options to resolve their wants and needs.
- Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and maintenance of the installed equipment.
- Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions
- Identify new business opportunities by performing direct sales activities and provide support to the administrative personnel as needed.
- Maintain company vehicle, ensure cleanliness and organization, both inside and out.
- Adhere to organizations health and safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of in-home sales experience with a proven track record of success in building territories, generating prospects, and excelling in customer experience.
- Knowledge of water filtration products preferred.
- Self-motivated, results-driven and highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Possess a strong commitment to providing an excellent customer experience by providing a thorough, informative presentation that distinguishes us from our competition
- Commit to skill development through weekly practice/coaching sessions that are customized to improve their current skill set
- Possess a positive and professional presence, exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that regularly includes evening and weekend appointments (when the customers want to meet us)
- Ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to properly engineer a job, perform heat load calculations and determine proper equipment sizing.
- Must pass MVR screening and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
- Ability to read, write and speak in English.
