Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. This position will begin on January first of 2025. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling piping systems in various settings, including HVAC and plumbing systems. The Pipe Welder must possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety protocols while demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools.
Duties
- Build and assemble piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Weld carbon steel proficiently at a quality that will pass any X-ray testing.
- Perform pipe threading and soldering tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete welding projects.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or in a similar role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus, along with experience in assembling piping components.
- Proficient in using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in welding tasks.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to welding and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately is essential for this position.
Requirements
- Must possess a 6G welding certification.
- Must be able to pass x ray
- Proficient in welding carbon steel
- Experience in Stick welding methods
- Must be able to pass drug test
- Must be able to obtain access to Federal Insulation

Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour
