Want To Work With St. Louis Leasing Co? Here’s Why You Shouldn’t
LIVE ABOVE THE LINE
If you can commit to and live with the following principles, then you are the type of person who will be successful and help our company thrive. If you feel this level of engagement is not right for you or that you’re not willing or able to participate with us at this level, we are not a good fit for you. Our expectation is that you will take the steps necessary to do what you say you are
going to do and be accountable for your actions. In other words, live “Above the Line.”
We understand that not every person is ready for this level of performance, and we appreciate the honesty of those who decide this is not the right place for them. On the other hand, you would make an ideal candidate to join our company if you are willing to commit to the following
Below are our core values. Everyone on the team embodies them through and through. If they don’t apply to you, then there is no need to apply for a job here.
TELL THE TRUTH
Here at Vreeland Capital we TELL THE TRUTH. We TELL THE TRUTH because it allows us to find, discuss, and solve issues incredibly fast. We are an elite team because we are ninjas at discovering and solving problems. Whenever someone on the team does not tell the truth, it delays our progress. We are a team of people who are committed to running straight into issues and problems and then solving them. This only works when we are committed to TELLING THE TRUTH.
TENACIOUS
Are you the type of person who sees something that is messed up or wrong and then keeps moving along hoping someone else will fix it? Our entire team is tenacious and results focused. There is no time for BS when it comes to getting things done. We move fast and this is a no excuses environment. We thrive on action and progress and so should you.
Limits are an illusion. While most people given a task will stop at every possible obstacle they encounter and wait around for the solution, we make it happen. We FIGURE IT OUT. Not trying is unacceptable. If you thrive within limitations and prefer to spend your time farting around a water cooler hoping solutions will appear, continue your search. You’ll be much happier elsewhere.
WORK HARD AND PLAY HARD
Do you mope around all day? Are you a negative nancy? Can you take a joke and laugh at yourself or do you take everything as a personal attack? We expect to be moving on all cylinders at all times. There is nothing more FUN than winning at what you are trying to
accomplish. There is nothing more fun that working with like-minded, principle-based people who share the same values and hitting targets and creating the results that you are working towards. It is impossible not to have fun with us. If you’re not fun, do not apply.
HELP PEOPLE HELP THEMSELVES
We do a lot of good for our customers and clients and team but we aren't a charity. We cannot save anyone from their own stupidity, laziness, or incompetence...you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. If you are a self starter who is willing to learn and get better every day, please join the team. If you are looking for someone to take care of you go somewhere else.
ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountability breeds responsibility. It is the glue that ties commitment to the result. We are results-driven team. To play on our team you must accept responsibility for your actions, be accountable for your results, and own your mistakes. Accountability is an act of will and must come from you. We hold our team to high standards and we expect 90% completion on daily tasks, to-do’s, and quarterly rocks. If the idea of taking full responsibility for your actions and performance makes you uneasy - you are in the wrong place.
If this letter has offended you in any way, this is not the team for you.
If this letter has excited you because of the A typical language and the lack of bureaucratic or corporate correctness, that is good. Understand that what we lack in bureaucratic and corporate structure we expect back in initiative and a commitment to results. The founder of this business was an Army Ranger and what he learned in Special Operations is that regulations and bureaucracy need to be and can be loosened for HIGH PERFORMERS. Do not take our relaxed attitude about regulations as a sign that we are relaxed about our team’s culture or team members performance or results. If you are not willing to come to work and GIVE IT YOUR ALL or be amongst team members who expect and demand your best DO NOT APPLY.
