Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, air conditioning, and equipment repair. This role involves working in various environments to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems and components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in heating and cooling systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to assess system performance.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement effective HVAC solutions.
- Operate company vehicles safely while driving to job sites as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems with a focus on air conditioning.
- Experience in equipment repair and field service operations.
- Knowledge of plumbing and welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for system design and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
