HOURS / SHIFT: 1st shift, 5 am – 2pm

DESCRIPTION:
The Maintenance Technician 3 ensures all equipment is running smoothly through quick in-depth troubleshooting and repair of all types of manufacturing equipment. Will be called on to fix urgent issues or project work to rebuild or modify equipment to improve efficiency. Working as a team with other technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and engineers, the Maintenance Technician 3 will collaborate to resolve mechanical issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing maintenance requirements (both planned and unplanned) on production, packaging, processing equipment, and facilities, including equipment and line changeovers
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and testing equipment (Multimeter)
- Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment at facility as required
- Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs safely and in a timely manner
- Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks on time, maintaining high quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: 3 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment or technical certificate
- Skilled in the use of shop equipment such as welding, hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill and lathe, and assorted power tools
- Proficient skills with precision measuring equipment, such as multi meter, calipers, flow, temp, and other analog process devices
- Experience working with 24VDC, 208V 1PH, 208/480V 3PH power
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work Environment: Production setting
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend as required for the entire shift
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
