Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications, and will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations and repairs in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Master Electrician will ensure that all work complies with local codes and safety regulations while providing leadership to junior electricians.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Oversee the work of junior electricians and apprentices to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards or defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical installations within project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
- Proficient in using hand tools as well as diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
- Experience working with logic controllers is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Pay: $43.00 - $57.00 per hour
