Employment Type: Part-Time (4-6 Hours/Week) + On-Call for Emergencies
We seek an experienced Bridge Electrician at Velociti Services. The Bridge Electrician specializing in movable bridges to join our Fort Lauderdale, FL team. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and the potential for emergency call-outs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, cabling, wiring, and motor control specific to bridge operations.

Electrical System Management: Install, maintain, and repair all electrical systems on movable bridges, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
- Cabling and Wiring: Perform cabling and wiring tasks, including setup and replacement of electrical components.
- Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems promptly, minimizing downtime.
- Emergency Power Systems: Maintain and repair emergency power systems to guarantee bridge functionality during power outages.
- Motor Control Systems: Install and service motor control systems, including variable frequency drives and relay controls.
- Compliance: Adhere to safety codes and electrical standards, ensuring all work meets regulatory requirements.

- Proven experience working with movable. And bridge electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of cabling, wiring, and motor control systems.
- Familiarity with emergency power systems and routine maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Understanding of safety codes and electrical standards.
- Must be available for emergency call-outs.
