Overview
We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician or someone with construction experience to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to learn and develop essential skills in the electrical trade while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in electrical work, including both low voltage and high voltage systems, and will be committed to safety and quality workmanship on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Conduct tests using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Participate in job site clean-up and organization to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in a construction site environment is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of electrical concepts, including low voltage and high voltage systems, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges in the electrical field.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
