D3 Water is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to service and maintain sensor networks in the Indiana and Ohio region. This position is based out of South Bend, IN. As the Field Service Technician, you will be on the front lines, ensuring the uptime and quality of sensor data, striving to maintain performance levels above 95%. Your responsibilities will include providing proactive and emergency maintenance to telemetry devices, as well as level and flow meters within your designated region. Portions of the training program for this position may be conducted at our Richmond, VA office. Travel or temporary relocation to Richmond, VA may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to meet and exceed data uptime and quality targets.
Conduct regular site visits to inspect and maintain telemetry devices, level meters, and flow meters.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently, both proactively and in response to emergencies.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Commit to upholding best practices in safety for all work activities
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and performance metrics.
Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and equipment to support maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

Strong technical knowledge of telemetry devices, level meters, and flow meters.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Willingness to travel within the designated region as needed.
Occasional travel to other regions to assist with operations as needed.
Valid driver's license, with good driving record and reliable transportation.
Confined Space certification
