Field Supervisor-GRAVITI ENERGY is looking to add an enthusiastic and motivated first-line FIELD SERVICE SUPERVISOR to our team based at our Houston office. The person will be engaged in overall monitoring and active management of field service personnel related to electric vehicle charger systems operations, installation and maintenance at multiple sites/locations. The supervisor will be reporting to operations manager to fulfill the expectations based upon the site requirements.
Given below are the roles and responsibilities:
· Directly supervise, coordinate and manage a team of field service technicians (trades from construction, electrical, mechanical, installation, maintenance, networking as applicable) involved in installation and maintenance of EV Charging Stations in Texas (Focus is Greater Houston area, but installs can be within Texas).
· Direct work crews installing commercial EV Charging Station Systems at multiple sites.
· Conduct toolbox talks, ensure work by service team members is performed safely and on par with best industry standards and or company procedures.
· Monitor performance of teams and manage schedule completion of Projects daily. Ensure timely completion of work scopes by teams and maintain high work quality of work completion.
· Provide supervision and leadership to service technicians and conduct periodic performance reviews and provide guidance to teams. Manage their workload and schedule daily work. Visit multiple sites where work is being done, coordinate with the Materials team and ensure resources are effectively utilized to complete work on time and within budget.
· On time delivery of project work at sites and with safety as cornerstone is important. Schedule work ahead of time by creating a fieldwork pipeline and coordinate/assign to teams. Dispatch team members to different sites and report their daily/hourly progress to Operations Management.
· Manage (review and approve) the timesheets of service team members and participate in hiring decisions. Ensure service teams arrive to site on time; clockin-clock out times are accurate; field work happens as expected within planned times and cut down on excuses (why it cannot be done); appropriate number of breaks are taken by team members; daily clean-up activities occur properly at the site, for next day work continuation. Identify opportunities for improvement in field service work.
· Be flexible with work scopes in going from site to site, roll up sleeves and do the work, if needed or attending service calls in odd hours to ensure charging station maintenance issues are resolved promptly, if need be.
· Comply with safety and company procedures and enforce safety procedures to minimize work related injuries or accidents.
· Develop and maintain up-to-date records of service activities, including work orders or service reports.
· Generate service metrics for the team, monitor actual performance and report team’s performance.
· Ensure field service fleet vehicles are in good working condition, and are used by service teams as per company policies. Ensure GPS tracking and Fuel tracking systems are optimized for reduced costs and increased performance.
· Write checklist of troubleshooting tips, techniques, best practices as it relates to EV Charger network configurations, which help maintain uptime and reliability.
· Fill in checklists, procedures and follow Quality Control guidelines in completing the installation of EV Chargers. Ensure that the service teams are performing activities as per company procedures. Help in the development of such procedures, and train the service team to follow/document and sign off on such procedures during actual field work.
· Provide feedback to Engineering team, draw best routing layouts for conduit and cables based on Site Visits and which minimizes noise/interference for EV Chargers during network data communications.
· Assist and coordinate with EV Charger Electrical Engineering team to ensure a successful onboard of multiple Sites. Perform Site assessments and evaluation of routing of data cables and conduit, as needed and provide feedback.
· Willing to travel to site locations based on the requirement, and make daily reports. Ability to drive is essential.
· Work with Project Manager and Operations Management and other vendors to ensure on time completion of field service work.

· Hands on experience as Field Service Supervisor is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required.
· Must be proficient in making reports using MS Office ( Word, Excel Powerpoint etc).
· Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in USA.
