Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing Service and Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential plumbing, construction, and maintenance. This role involves working on various residential plumbing projects ranging from fixing leaks, installation of fixtures, and pipe replacement and vavle repair.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential buildings.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential plumbing or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations.
- A maintenance person background is a plus for general maintenance tasks outside of plumbing duties.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
