We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to learn the electrical trade through on-the-job training while working under the supervision of licensed electricians. As an apprentice, you will gain valuable experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, all while earning a competitive wage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Install wiring, outlets, switches, and other electrical components.
- Help troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment necessary for electrical work.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure job site safety.
- Participate in ongoing training and coursework to meet apprenticeship requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Interest in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus but not required.
Compensation $18-$24/hour depending on experience
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the Team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
