Hiring Sidewalk Crew Foreman and Crew Members for commercial properties located in eastern Cuyahoga County. Sidewalk Foreman requires previous experience and a valid driver's license with 4 or less points. Crew Member position does not require experience or a driver's license.
Sidewalk work typically begins with one-half inch of snow, so if it's snowing - we're working. Crew foreman may work solo in light events requiring less clearing work, so there are more hours available. Crew members are needed when there is one-half to one inch of snowfall.
If you have experience, you know the work is part-time, on-call and seasonal. Winter work at times is scheduled according to the forecast, but is dependent on the snow fall. When the call out occurs, you'll need to report without issue, typically within 60 to 90 minutes. These are assigned routes with the expectation for a season long commitment.
Additional training will be provided on sidewalk equipment as assigned, which includes RTV, Snowrators, closed cab tractors, and skid steers. Additional training for foreman includes learning service level and site requirements, along with reporting and record keeping.
Compensation based on experience and availability. Winter Dependability Bonus earns another 5-15% on top of hourly rate.
