What You'll Do:
- Inspection, Testing, Maintenance: Work in accordance with NFPA 25 and local standards to ensure systems are working correctly and address any issues
- Reporting: Use Google Suite to communicate findings, recommendations and summaries to relevant parties in a consistent and timely manner
- Collaboration: Work alongside coordinators, sprinkler fitters and alarm teams the to manage daily operations, including responding to incoming service calls
- Professional Growth: Embrace opportunities to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- WA State ITT Certificate of Competency
- Portland Fire Certificate of Fitness (strongly recommended or 3 months to obtain)
- Backflow Certification
- 2+ years in fire sprinkler inspections, maintenance, and/or repairs
- Understanding of NFPA 25
- Familiarity with water-based fire sprinkler systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, utility vaults (confined spaces), above ceilings, etc.
- Able to work a full-time yet flexible schedule
- Willing to pass a pre-employment background check
- Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Note: this is a safety sensitive role and requires a clear drug test including cannabis.
