Mechanical Heating & Cooling is hiring for experienced Lead HVAC Install Technicians! We are looking for skilled professionals with at least 5 years installation experience. Install heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, and ductwork, according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Lead a team of installers to complete jobs efficiently, providing direction, training, and support to junior technicians and apprentices.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Ensure that installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Communicate with customers before, during, and after installation to address any questions, concerns, or issues. Provide guidance on system operation and maintenance.
Connect electrical wiring, gas lines, and venting as required for HVAC equipment. Perform system start-up and diagnostics to confirm proper operation.
Ensure all installations meet quality standards and company expectations. Perform final inspections of completed work to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Accurately document all work completed, including service reports, parts used, and any recommendations for future maintenance. Submit paperwork in a timely manner.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and products to maintain technical expertise. Participate in company-sponsored training programs.

Standard 8-hour shift
Overtime available based on workload and customer demand

Minimum of 5 years of HVAC installation experience is required. Prior leadership or supervisory experience in HVAC installation is a strong plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. EPA certification is required; additional certifications such as NATE or HVAC Excellence are preferred.
Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including ductwork, gas piping, electrical connections, and refrigeration principles. Familiarity with both residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to diagnose installation challenges and find efficient solutions.
Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces or high places.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex HVAC concepts to customers and train junior team members.
