Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician or 4th year Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both commercial and residential electrical work, with a strong understanding of high and low voltage systems. As an Apprentice/Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, including construction sites and occupied homes. Your expertise in blueprint reading and logic controllers will be essential for ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret plans to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs on high voltage and low voltage systems.
- Collaborate with other tradesman on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any modifications made to existing systems. This will be completed via photos, logs, or other documentation resources.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in potentially hazardous environments.
Qualifications
- MUST BE LICENSED
- Proven experience as a Residential Electrician or Commercial Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems, or a 4th year Electrical Apprentice that is willing to get to the next step.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, including logic controllers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to electrical work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites.
- Must possess relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
