Our current project, Home at Maricopa, is a 536 Unit Multi-family community with 6 apartment buildings and a clubhouse on 18.8 acres in the City of Maricopa. The apartment buildings are 4 and 5 story concrete and steel construction buildings. The clubhouse is a single-story wood framed building. The project is fully funded and will be continuously built in multiple phases over the next several years providing long term job security and opportunity for growth.
This position is for our jobsite in Maricopa, Arizona
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Looking for an experienced Electrician.
- Experienced in new construction - Residential and/or Commercial.
- Experienced in underground electrical.
- Experienced with installation and connecting electrical systems including wiring, switches, outlets, lights, fixtures, circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Knowledge and compliance with NEC codes.
- Able to read and interpret plans.
- Able to perform material take off.
- Ensure that all electrical work is performed in a safe, efficient, and professional manner and that all work areas are left clean and tidy after completion.
- Mentoring and supervising apprentice electricians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Must have hand tools.
- Reliable transportation to Maricopa, Arizona.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3+ years of experience
- Must have knowledge of the electrical industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks.
· Able to stand and walk the project site for an extended period of time.
· Regularly talk and/or hear.
· Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
· Occasionally required to but not limited to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
· Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
· Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics, and tunnels.
· Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move at least 50 pounds regularly/occasionally
· Must be able to respond quickly to sounds.
· Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
· Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations.
· Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds.
· Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
· Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.
